Andrew Calvert appointed as managing director for Asia Pacific, after The Forum Corporation and the leadership division of AchieveGlobal, Inc., came together earlier this year

Singapore, 21 April 2017
– AchieveForum, a global leader in turning high potential into high performance, announced today the appointment of Andrew Calvert as managing director for Asia Pacific at AchieveForum, in line with the company’s commitment to strengthen its leadership in face of the growing opportunities in the region. The announcement comes at a time when organisations are scaling up their talent pipelines and training development programmes.

Calvert previously served as the director of sales operations of Miller Heiman Group. Having facilitated a variety of local- and regional-focused programmes with mid-to-senior level executives covering a wide range of business areas, from the mapping and development of customer experiences, to major change initiatives and deploying organisation-wide innovation programmes, Calvert brings with him nearly 20 years of customer service, leadership, sales and training experience in Hong Kong, Singapore and the United States.

Announcing the appointment, Russ Becker, CEO of AchieveForum said, “During his 12-year career with both AchieveGlobal and Miller Heiman Group, Andrew has established a firm understanding of the corporate leadership and development market, and has won the trust and confidence of our customers. With extensive experience in leading major product launches, as well as managing the expansion of offices into Greater China and Singapore, Andrew is well-positioned to lead our organisation in the Asia Pacific region.”

Calvert will be based in AchieveForum’s Singapore office, and will report directly to the CEO.

With 85 years of research and client experience, coupled with blended and multi-modal resources tailored specifically to help organisations meet their unique challenges, AchieveForum now serves some of the most premier brands across the globe, including Telestra and TNT Express. Earlier this month, AchieveForum released four new digital learning solutions designed to help mid-level leaders strengthen the tie between their people and the overall strategy of their business. These new solutions are built on AchieveForum’s robust digital platform, which provides real-time access to the resources and tools leaders need to improve performance, at every level of the organisation.

"The new re-branding builds on the successful track record of both companies, and will propel AchieveForum towards helping businesses think differently about how they can develop talent into highly performing, successful leaders,” Calvert said. “Our role is to design and provide these organisations with the relevant tools so they can build leaders who are agile, nimble, and can be counted on to deliver meaningful results. We are now at an exciting and game-changing period of change in the organisation, and I am delighted to be part of it.”

Calvert is also a human resources committee member and ex-OD consultant of HCA Singapore, a mentor of Youth for Causes at YMCA, and an advisory panel member of the Asia Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA).

AchieveForum, formed earlier this year, brings together the Forum Corporation and the leadership division of AchieveGlobal to deliver a comprehensive global leadership development offering, designed to serve the entire leadership continuum and yield improved business performance. The organisation has offices around the world, including a presence in Singapore, China and Australia in the Asia Pacific region.
